End of 2016 – 2017 Beginnings

The pace has picked up at ROAM with multiple jobs finalising completion.
BHP’s Hunt Point Tug Harbour is almost complete, with 1 tug currently moored to a pontoon. Roam was busy in the office and at site with Lendlease in Port Hedland providing construction support ensuring all marine components came together quickly to be ready for the tug arrival. This involved lifting studies, contractor management, procurement, commissioning, maintenance manuals and reporting to client direct in order to push the job along. See photos in website and promo sheet.

Sydney’s new ferry terminal at Barangaroo is coming along. Roam has assisted Brady Marine in temporary works design to temporarily brace and support piles that were driven the short length to the shallow rock until they were drilled.

Roam has been busy assisting TAMS with multiple temporary works access platforms for fender upgrades and wharf refurbishments in the Pilbara.

A smaller job though definately a tricky one, Roam worked with Carleton Construction to setout and detail some slick architectural boardwalks along the swan river for DPaw. These were a mixture of Aluminium box and FRP section structure with screw piles, and jarrah decking. Some photos are in the projects file.

More exciting projects on the horizon for 2017.
